Red & White

Red & White

From dust and clay he made us,
In the perfect garden laid us,
Then from sins of scarlet saved us,
His garment’s red, my robe is white

The shining light in darkest hour
The righteous rush into his tower
And through him death has been devoured
The Son of God our sacrifice,
His garment’s red, my robe is white

In his grace the saints are anchored
The cross and nails the sinner’s payment
The empty tomb, our sure salvation
The Son of God our sacrifice,
His garment’s red, my robe is white

Behold, the Lamb of God
Who takes our sins, Takes our sins away
Who takes our sins away
Behold, the Lamb of God
Who takes our sins, Takes our sins away
Who takes our sins away

At his throne of vict’ry seated
We’ll finally feel our hearts completed
With open arms our king will meet us
In garments red, and glory bright!
In garments red, and glory bright!
His garments red, our robes are white!

Behold, the Lamb of God
Who makes our sin as white as wool
Behold, his precious blood
That has the power to save my soul

"He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses." Revelation 19:13-14
